Quark/SimWorld Video Tutorial Pack
Submitted By: Sim9 in Misc >> Misc

Description:
Here is a nice pack of three video tutorials to help you learn how to make interior structures for SimWorld and other Torque based games using the Quark editor. There are three video tutorials included, each on a different topic:

Quark1.avi - Part 1 - Teaches how to set up Quark for SimWorld and other Torque based games.
Quark2.avi - Part 2 - Teaches some basic Quark operations like: creating and moving brushes, negative brushes, duplicators, and texture assignment.
Quark3.avi - Part 3 - Teaches how to export from Quark into SimWorld.

For more help, feel free to visit the forums (forums.editingarchive.com) or IRC (irc.editingarchive.com #Archive).

Forgot to mention you will need the XVid codec. Download MPlayer or the XVid codec to watch these videos if they do not play.

sweet dude! can u tell us how to make a tfc map or is it basicly the same thing?

Well, the second tutorial shows you basic mapping, but making a TFC map is different due to a different setup procedure, a different export procedure, and different entity procedures. The second tutorial will help you learn basic quark operations though :)

For the record - my name is pronounced "Wall + rye" and not "Wal + ree"

:P
