It's been a long time since we last sent out a newsletter. In fact, the only indication I have of the newsletter being used ever was in 2003. So if you're getting this and wondering who we are, I'll do a quick recap here. And if you want to unsubscribe, just go to this page: [UNSUBSCRIBE].

The Archive is a community website dedicated to Gaming, Game Development, and Anime. We offer many features for our community, ranging from streaming online TV (EATV), active game development projects like SimWorld, game server hosting for TFC & Quake 2, web games, file downloads, and much more. We expect to send out annoucements to this list approximately once per month, or maybe once per season. If you want to unsubscribe, you can [UNSUBSCRIBE], but I hope you'll revive your interest in our community instead :)

EATV streams Anime and Gaming video direct to you! For more information on what is currently playing, see our series description page. Here are some series which were recently added:

	Soul Link - "Aizawa Ryota was in the 3rd grade of the preparatory course of Central Military Academy. AD 2045, he went to a space station, Aries, for the training with his classmates including Nagase Saka and Nittak Kazuhiko. 	Host Bu - Ouran High School Host Club , a hilarious anime focusing on a tomboyish-looking girl who a group of bishounen guys ("pretty boys") mistake for a guy. It turns out that the group play hosts to entertain girls at a private school for the wealthy. After they realize their mistake, they resolve to have her continue to act as a male host. 	Uta-Kata - "On the last day of the school year, 14 year-old Ichika Tachibana comes across an old, busted mirror in an unused campus building. When Manatsu, a mysterious girl from inside the mirror, steps out and offers her friendship for the summer, she also offers Ichika magical powers. Now, Manatsu must help Ichika unlock the powers of the 12 Djinn in order to complete her magic training... but perhaps this is something that will prove too difficult a task. For those that don't visit the forums regularly, here are some interesting forums threads from the past month to check out:

• What is the Nintendo Wii like? Some of our community members review the Wii and provide their impressions.
• Wormywyrm posts news of his online mario game. It's pretty neat! :)
• Darkfire reviews the anime series Zegapain.
• Combine_bob attempts to run custom Half-life maps on his Dreamcast (and loses many CD's in the process).

The Archive's most popular feature is still it's exhaustive file database. Here are some cool file uploads from the past month:

Darkfire created a neat wallpaper for us (pictured left). TFC Project Director Dazed has created a introductory Half-Life mapping tutorial (forums), and to go with it, two example maps. The classic EATV Relay Boxcar ad is now available for download. Womann uploaded several anime wallpapers and an AMV.

We also run an IRC server and maintain a quotes database. Here's a random quote from the database:

Archive: Fiction is our Archive Project which features fiction created by Archive Community Members! We're revamping our submission process which should make for much quicker turnaround time for getting stories posted! Expect a new story to be posted next weekend!
