Time for the second installment of our new newsletter! It's been two months since our last newsletter, so we'll highlight the new happenings!

The Archive is a community website dedicated to Gaming, Game Development, and Anime. We offer many features for our community, ranging from streaming online TV (EATV), active game development projects like SimWorld, game server hosting for TFC & Quake 2, web games, file downloads, and much more. We expect to send out annoucements to this list somewhere between once per month to once per quarter. If you want to unsubscribe, you can [UNSUBSCRIBE], but I hope you'll revive your interest in our community instead :)

We sold out of T-Shirts! Thus, we're looking into potential future merchandise to offer. Please help us by doing this survey!

	Busou Renkin - One night, Kazuki Muto jumps in to try to save what he thinks is a girl in distress from a monster and instead gets impaled through the heart. The girl, Tokiko, is actually an alchemic warrior with a Busou Renkin, name of Valkerie Skirt, with the mission to exterminate Homunculi. She implants the only other successful work of alchemy than the Homunculus, the Kakugane, to take the place of Kazuki's heart. The Kakugane resonates with his fighting spirit and forms a Busou Renkin (in his case a spear) so he can fight the Homunculus monsters who prey on humans. 	Machine Robo Rescue - In the near future, humanity was prone to some certain disasters. But a special organization name Machine Robo Rescue were formed to help the citizen in a certain disasters. Then, they decided to enlist 12 children to the team with special abilities into the Machine Robo Rescue. Taiyo Ozura, one of the enlisted kids wanted to become a Robo Master. After being late on his first day of training, he went to perform a hot rescue with JETROBO. However, a mysterious Robot from mysterious organization, Disasters appeared before MRR team to interfere with the rescue. Now along with his dog Bon and his friends, he and the whole MRR must protect peoples's lives and defeat the Disasters before they destroy the earth. 	Daikyu Maryû Gaiking - Earth is still in danger: aliens from planet Zeraz are willing to invade our planet because theirs is being swallowed by a Black Hole. Led by Great Darius and his four generals, they begin seeding death and destruction. When an ESP warrior is killed by aliens, professor Hi-Tech understands the danger and builds the huge Space Dragon (Daiku Maryu) piloted by Pete, and the giant robot Gaiking whose pilot is Sanshiro Shiwobuki, an ex-baseball player. 	Futakoi - With his mother dead and his father working abroad, Futami Nozomu returns to the town where he lived as a child, to attend high school and work part-time at a local shrine. For those that don't visit the forums regularly, here are some interesting forums threads from the past two months to check out:

• In an exhaustive case study of (one) MIT student, 100% of Archivers are smarter than 100% of MIT students. Anyway, Archive members wrote the Fibonacci sequence in both BASIC and C++.
• Temasongu details how you can use Microsoft's built-in Playing Card graphics library.
• Travis dives into 3D Modelling and looks for recommendations on 3D Modelling programs.
• Neo looks for an example of how to use PHP and MySQL together, and gets two solutions.
• Is Blizzard going to annouce StarCraft 2?
• Revolt: The Decimation launches their Source Modification.
• Archive members share their thoughts on the Nintendo Wii.
• Study says video games "satisfy deeply rooted psychological needs."
• A community member looks to restart Open Source JailBreak development, but needs to find the most recent source-code.
• Snif posts his first impressions on the new Anime series of Spring 2007.

The Archive's most popular feature is still it's exhaustive file database. Here are some cool file uploads from the past month:

Two long-overdue fixes to DevJournals, our blogging service, were performed:

• New WYSIWYG editor which is compatible with both Internet Explorer and FireFox.
• A new theme parameter was introduced, %date%, which allows you to display the date of the post.

These were the two largest usability concerns, which should hopefully now be resolved. (Discussion)

The Archive conducted an Easter Egg hunt. Members were rewarded 50 Archive Points and a custom Easter Egg Archive Item for each Easter Egg they found. They turned up some interesting hidden things on the site, so check out the thread to see some hidden goodies. The hunt is closed for this year, but may open again next year!

Earlier in the year, we introduced a MoonEdit server. MoonEdit is essentially multiplayer notepad and gives some fun, creative results. So far, our server has been used for ASCII art, collaborative fiction, essay feedback, and general chatting. Check this thread out to see how to connect.

EntMod is a popular activity in our TFC Server. It allows for group building of structures, similar to that of GMod. If you're a TFC player, check out this thread to sign-up for EntMod access and see screenshots of some structures other members have built.

We met with the Revolt: The Decimation team for an interview loaded with exclusives! Check it out for information on their Source modification.

We also run an IRC server and maintain a quotes database. Here's a random quote from the database:

Archive: Fiction is our Archive Project which features fiction created by Archive Community Members! The restructuring process mentioned in the previous newsletter is complete, resulting in a faster submission process! Check out Archive Fiction and browse through our authors!
